But you can call me Marie for obvious sanity reasons.
I was born and bred in Paris, France, where I bottled up much of its legendary elegance, aesthetics and romanticism that shape the way I see the world today and my approach to photography. My mission is to infuse the way I shoot weddings with that little bit of magic, and deliver photographs that elegantly and subtly sublime the most important day of your life, in a simple and unobtrusive way.
My style is a great match for couples who value quality over quantity, are attracted to the beautiful things in life without being ostentatious, have an eye for beauty and love to travel to places filled with art, cafés, and Nutella crêpes ;)
You've made it this far so here's a bit of a back story:
Paris, late 90s. I'm a law student at the time, spending most of my time commuting in the endless corridors of the busy Parisian subway. I do not love it, but law is as good a career as any, I tell myself.
The beauty of life, however, is that it rarely turns out how we plan it. I picked up a camera along the path of my corporate years, quit my day job to become a full-time wedding photographer and here we are now, 10 years in and counting.
Today, I love to bring visions to life through poetic photographs and celebrate people in love, their friends and family. It feels like it's what I was meant to be all along and I can't be more grateful.
