"Thank you so much for the amazing work you did. Everyone we know loves the photos and we coudn't haved asked for a more talented photographer. You made the whole day so easy, comfortable and fun. But most of all you brought out a confidence in me that I never thought I had, I felt really beautiful on the day and a lot of that was thanks to you. You captivated every moment perfectly, exactly how I wanted it to be remembered and we will be forever grateful."
Michelle, bride
An engagement shoot is a chance for me to capture some really beautiful, candid photos of you and your partner in a relaxed environment. Just the two of you, being you.
For analog film lovers, I’ll add a couple of rolls of film to shoot on my 35mm camera on the day. Please note: 2 rolls of film are already included in the 8h all day coverage package.
Need longer coverage than 8 hours? No problem! Simply add some extra hours to your chosen package and count me in!
A modern and more affordable option compared to traditional video coverage. Quick turnaround of only 7 Days.
This is an important part of your story, with a lot of anticipation. Emotions tend to run high. It's typically an intimate moment where the immediate family gather together, or a fun moment shared with the bridesmaids. I usually cover one spouse while my 2nd shooter covers the other.
Most ceremonies are 30 minutes long. If you're getting married in a church, it may run for up to 1 hour. My 2nd shooter typically arrives before me at the venue to capture the guests arriving and the waiting spouse getting nervous
These can get done fairly quickly, especially if there's a list prepared in advance and given to someone who is familiar with both families. For smaller weddings, these can be done in about 10 minutes, for larger weddings it's a good idea to put aside 30 minutes.
A portrait session can include the married couple only, or bridesmaids and groomsmen if there's any. In the latter we would start with taking shots of the whole group, then the bridal party can leave and we end the shoot with the couple only. We can go to different locations or stay around the venue. No rule for that one! Best to allocate between 30mins to 1 hour for portraits, more if there's a lot of logistics or people imvolved.
After the ceremony, guests usually head to the reception venue for a cocktail hour while the newlyweds have their portraits done. The couple then join the guests to mingle and have a drink.
It's also a great opportunity for us to shoot the reception details before guests sit down.
By this time of day, the timeline is definitely not as strict. The important stuff is behind you, and it's time for everyone to celebrate!
This is not an absolute necessity but it's been a long standing tradition and a great way to kick off the dancefloor :)
You'll find me right in the middle recording all the iconic moves of you and your guests! These shots can be a lot of fun and they convey a lot of great vibes and energy.
After 30-45min, a good amount of dancing photos are in the box and it's a good time for photography to wrap up. But you keep dancing the night away!
If you feel you need to add extra hours to record special moments, remember that you can always extend your coverage, no problem!

Just let me know (call, text, form or e-mail, it's all good!), and I'll draft a contract for you. Don't worry if you are unsure of how many hours you'll need yet, we can finalise this closer to the date.
I'll also send you an invoice for the deposit to make sure your date is reserved. The balance is due 1 week before the wedding. Payment plans and several payment methods are available too.
The photos are delivered in a beautifully tiled online gallery. This is a beautiful, easy and intuitive way to view and share your precious memories. The photos can be downloaded individually or as a whole set directly from there in high resolution. And if you don't want to share, that's ok too, I can make your gallery private. Complimentary USB keys are also available upon request.
Beautifully crafted photos take some time, so please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
Yes, absolutely! Editing is a crucial part of the final look of the photos you will receive. It ensures consistency of colour palette, temperature and overall look and feel. I always make sure the photos are not over-processed to ensure their timeless quality. There's a current trend where photos have vintage or hipster filters applied to them but they may look dated in a few years. My personal favourite style is the look of classic film stock like Portra 400 which has been around for decades. It has a soft film look but still retains true-to-life colours and beautiful skin tones.
Yes! A huge part of my work covers photographing weddings from a wide range of cultures including Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Lebanese, Indian and more. I've shot dozens of tea ceremonies and other rituals. I love, embrace and respect the diversity of the wedding world.
